Knowing David Cook will never know of this comment I would still like to say this song was my very favorite of all. The evening he sung innocent I had been going through a very difficult day. Two years prior to his singing this I had lost the only parent I had ever had. My mother. She was my life and it was very hard losing her. When I heard him sing innocent and heard his words I was dumb founded, because I had lost her to cancer. I kinda felt as if it was my mama letting me know that everything would be all right. I should have posted this 2 years ago, but it is just now getting easy for me to talk about my mama. God Bless You David Cook!
