These were the bottom 3 for American Idol 7 Top 8 Results. Once again Carly Smithson is in the bottom with Syesha Mercado. And for the first time, Michael Johns is also in the bottom 3 even though he has been steady throughout the show and is considered one of the strongest performers. Both Carly Smithson and Michael Johns picked wrong songs to sing - something that guarantees a spot in the bottom 3…and…
Michael Johns is eliminated.
This was his first time in the bottom 3 and also the last…sob….
