It’s happened a few times and might not be considered news but this being a slow weekend after the American Idol eliminations, it’s anything goes.
If she’s not being photographed drunk or taking drugs, rehab star Amy Winehouse is busy going in and out of jail. According to UK new reports, Amy Winehouse was held for police questioning on suspiscion of assault. However a doctor with the police deemed Amy Winehouse unfit for questioning.
Another person whose career has gone to the doghouse is former action movie star Wesley Snipes who has been senteneced to three years in jail on Thursday for failing to file his tax returns from 1999 to 2004, US media said. Wesley Snipes starred in several successful action movies, the most notable being the “Blade” franchise. The US Department of Justice said in a statement earlier this month that Snipes had sought to evade paying more than US$15 million (S$20 million) in taxes to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

Could this be a ploy to create buzz for the Miley Cyrus upcoming photo spread on Vanity Fair? Or is this simply a hint that in 2 years’ time, we might have another Britney Spears in showbiz.
