David Archuleta Wins American Idol
That’s the general consensus. The American Idol Finale took on a rather lame boxing match theme so that the producers can fill up the hour long show with shots of fighters training and in the ring. Simon Cowell who had earlier predicted a David Cook win based on vocals and originality, has now hopped over to the David Archuleta side after the finale performance show. In fact, all the judges predict a David Archuleta win.
For the American Idol Final Results show, rumours are floating around that George Michael is expected as a surprise guest.

well archuleta lost! i cried so much
I cried, too. The judges made me believe that Archuleta was going to win. I think he deserved it so much. I was so hurt when they announced David Cook.
It was a little sad but Cook TOTALY deserved it! Archuleta had the better voice but Cook really worked for it!
David Cook didn’t give his best performances in the sense that he couldn’t do something amazing like he did with Billie Jean/Hello/Eleanor Rigby so I’m a little surprised but happy that he won.
