David Archuleta Told “You’re Not What We’re Looking For” During Preliminary Idol Round
David Archuleta on Larry King Live where talks about if he thought he was going to win during the winner announcement and if his father was a problem with the recent news: David Archuleta’s dad banned from backstage. A shocking bit about American Idol is David Archuleta being told by first round audition judges that he’s “not what we’re were looking looking for” only to be called back just as he was walking out the exit. I wonder who else was told to go home that could have been in the Top 10.

This kid is so talented and is so humble. He really doesn’t realize how good he is. Very sincere,genuine, kind, and humble. I hope that he does not change with all the temptations and pressures that will confront him in this profession.

Archuleta doesn’t seem like he can handle all the attention and pressure that goes with being a teen sensation. Hope he doesn’t turn into a damaged kid.
