The new American Idol David Cook “Time Of My Life” mp3 single has been breaking all kinds of records since its release on iTunes. David Cook who has signed on with RCA Records is currently preparing his debut album scheduled for release in fall 2008.

David Cook’s “The Time Of My Life” single went straight to Number 1 on iTunes within 7 hours of being available selling 236,024 digital tracks in 4 days. It is the best performing debut single of an American Idol since season 2. David Cook also has 17 tracks on the Top 100 Digital Songs chart - the most ever by any artist.
