Madonna And Alex Rodriguez Affair Just A PR Stunt?
The Madonna and Alex Rodriguez affair took a bizarre turn when baseball star Alex Rodriguez’s wife, Cynthia Rodriguez filed for divorce citing “The marriage of the parties is irretrievably broken because of the husband’s extramarital affairs and other marital misconduct,”. Madonna was not mentioned in the legal papers.
Alex Rodriguez who plays for the New York Yankees has been reported in the media as paying many late-night visits to Madonna’s Central Park West apartment in New York City. He made $185.45 million from 2001-7 from his contract with the Texas Rangers and Yankees. His new deal with the Yankees is worth $350 million. Alex Rodriguez obviously could have any young starlet he wants, why would he hook up with 50-year-old Madonna.
Madonna in the meantime, has issued an official denial of the whole thing. Something very uncharacteristic of her, unless she thinks it’s good PR for her upcoming Hard Candy tour.
