Brad Pitt Donates $100K For Gay Marriage
Hollywood A-lister Brad Pitt has donated US$100k to support the anti-proposition 8 campaign.
Proposition 8 is in favor of banning same sex marriages and making them illegal in California.
Gay marriage was legalised a couple of months ago but could be voted against in the upcoming election.
Says Brad Pitt, “Because no one has the right to deny another their life, even though they disagree with it, because everyone has the right to live the life they so desire if it doesn’t harm another and because discrimination has no place in America, my vote will be for equality and against Proposition 8.”
This comes on the heels of another donation: Brangelina Donate $2 Million For Ethiopian Clinic.
