Street magician David Blaine blamed President Bush’s TV address for his upside down stunt failure. The scheduled end was pushed back 15 minutes while TV stations broadcast President Bush’s address on the economy. During that time, the wind had picked up and David Blaine was advised against the spectacular ending.

By his own admission, the stunt was a failure. David Blaine who was suppose to hang upside down for 60 hours and then plunge 44ft to the ground ended up putting on the lamest stunt of his career. First, instead of hanging upside down continuously for 60 hours, David Blaine takes breaks standing upright during stunt. And instead of plunging to the ground, with a “dive of death”, he floated away with a bunch of balloons. What a lamo.
