Goodbye Mr Blackwell
Fashion critic and creator of the famous Mr. Blackwell’s Ten Worst Dressed Women list, Mr. Blackwell has died. He was 86.
Born Richard Sylvan Selzer, he became an important designer in the 60s but became more well known for his list of worst dressed women which started off as an article for American Weekly magazine.
Mr. Blackwell was discharged from hospital a few months ago: Fashion Critic Mr Blackwell Wakes From Coma.
He will be remembered for his unique fashion critques of famous women:
Martha Stewart:dull, dowdy and devastatingly dreary
Cher: A million beads/And one overexposed derriere
Queen Elizabeth: Was she the palace Christmas tree, or just a royal clown?
