Lindsay Lohan Sued For Wild Ride
Three men involved in a 2007 wild car chase where Lindsay Lohan jumped into their SUV to pursue her assistant along Malibu’s Pacific Coast Highway following a private party are suing Lindsay Lohan.
The suit states that Lindsay Lohan “drove at speeds over 60 miles per hour, and sped through intersections controlled by red lights and stop signs without slowing down” and, at several points, “came very close to colliding with other vehicles.”
The chase ended when Lindsay Lohan was led to the police station where she was taken into custody for DUI after failing a sobriety test.
The three men are seeking $50,000 in damages to cover negligence, assault, battery, false imprisonment, intentional infliction of emotional distress, conversion, trespass and slander.
Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer, Ed McPherson calls the suit “absurd”. He said, “”If this was truly the ‘worst night’ of their summer, and not their best night, one has to wonder why they didn’t just get out of the car during the many opportunities they had to do so,” since Lindsay made many stops through the chase.
Umm..because they figured they could grab some easy cash by suing Lindsay Lohan?
