F1 Boss Bernie Ecclestone In Billion Dollar Divorce

Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone and his wife are divorcing after 24 years of marriage. Slavica Ecclestone, 50, a 6ft 2in former model, who towers 10 inches over the 78-year-old is entitled to a big chunk of Bernie’s £2.4 billion fortune because of the long period of marriage.
Legal sources say it is “likely to be the biggest divorce in legal history.”
The couple met at the 1982 Italian Grand Prix, where Mrs Ecclestone was modelling.
They married two years later and although the union was seen as solid they were said to have grown apart in recent years, partly due to Mr Ecclestone’s business lifestyle.
The couple have two daughters, Tamara, 24, and Petra, 19, both of whom live in London.
Despite being the 24th richest person in Britain, Bernie Ecclestone and his family led relatively low key lives with Mr Ecclestone refusing to hire public relations advisor and Mrs Ecclestone often claiming that she did the housework herself. Her daughters have also revealed that their mother refused to have a dishwasher.
