Twilight $35 Million Box Office Debut
Teen vampire romance flick Twilight has debuted with $35 million at the box office. This makes Twilight bigger than James Bond and Indiana Jones and could rank in the top 15 biggest openers of all time. Of that amount, $7 million came from Friday midnight screenings. Based on the series of Twilight young adult novels by Stephenie Meyer, which tell the story of a girl who moves from Arizona to Washington and finds her life in danger when she falls in love with a vampire, Edward Cullen.
