It doesn’t pay to think too much - the lightweight comedy Four Christmases box office takings is tops with an estimated at $46.7 million for five days and $31.7 million for the three-day weekend, Variety reports.
The romantic comedy stars Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon.
In second place is the teenage vampire flick Twilight ($39.5 million in five days). Third place goes to the 3D animation Bolt ($36 million in five days).
Nicole Kidman’s Kiss Of Death In Australia sees Baz Lurhman’s expensive epic stinker expecting to nett only about $20 million in 5 days.
Thank goodness co-star Hugh Jackman still has X-Men to fall back on.
