Guy Ritchie Forces Madonna To Say He Did Not Get Millions In Divorce
Following Madonna’s spokeswoman who released a statement saying that Guy Ritchie received at least US$75 million in their divorce settlement: Madonna And Guy Ritchie Divorce Settlement, reports have emerged that Guy Ritchie has forced Madonna to say the divorce settlement claims are “misleading and inaccurate”.
According to the UK’s Daily Mail, Guy Ritchie is furious with Madonna for repeatedly trying to control the public’s perception of her throughout their divorce.
“Guy couldn’t stand by while this happened,” the source said. “It was not just a case of misinformation being leaked out by Madonna’s team to better her image.
“Madonna actually sanctioned her PR to make an official statement about the settlement which had been massively exaggerated.
“The intention had presumably been to make Guy look money-grabbing and to make Madonna look generous. But it backfired.
“Madonna is clearly used to controlling things, but it wasn’t going to happen this time.”
Guy Ritchie managed to strong-arm Madonna into releasing a new joint statement that reads, “We have tried to maintain a dignified silence regarding the details of our divorce for the last few months while accepting the obvious media interest.
“A misleading and inaccurate statement, specifically in relation to the sums of money involved, was wrongly issued this week.
“The financial details of the settlement will remain private. Our primary concern is the care and well-being of our children.”
For goodness’ sake, Guy, stop pretending that you don’t want Madonna’s money.
