Spencer Pratt Responds To “Fake Marriage” Reports
Real or fake? Star of reality TV series The Hills Spencer Pratt has responded to reports that his marriage with Heidi Montag is fake after media snoops could not find a marriage license for the couple in Los Angeles County.
Spencer Pratt told E! News in a radio interview, “We checked the confidentiality box, so good luck people.” Meanwhile, preview clips for the finale showing the couple standing before a judge and Montag spouting what appear to be traditional vows have airing endlessly.
Los Angeles Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini confirmed to E! News that MTV was granted permission to film in the Beverly Hills courthouse. However, the session took place outside regular business hours with Parachini noting that that was not typical nor legally binding – much like their much touted “secret elopement” marriage in Mexico: Heidi Montag And Spencer Pratt Wedding Photos.
