Craig “a worthy successor” to Connery as Bond?

Despite worldwide protests on the choice of craggy Daniel Craig as Bond, he has defied all odds and gotten initial rave reviews for his performance as a newly double-ohhed agent, with some even saying he is a “worthy successor” to Sean Connery. Instead of going overboard on gadgets like its predecessors, this film goes back to basics and not only delivers on the action but manages to breathe new life into a 20-year old franchise. Ok, but surely there is another better looking actor who can do all that too?

Singapore will be one of the earliest countries to screen it. I will probably go see it although I must say the trailers, especially the ones with close-ups of Craig are not particularly persuasive.
