2009 Oscar Winners

As host for the 2009 Academy Awards, Hugh Jackman surprises us with his hidden talents. He did an almost one-man show for the opening number with a little help from actress Anne Hathaway who was also a nominee for Best Actress.

The 2009 Oscars was a more intimate affair with budget cuts but managed to entertain more than the glitzy productions of yester-year.

As expected, this year’s hot fav Slumdog Millionaire took home both Best Picture and Best Director while Sean Penn got Best Actor with Kate Winslet taking Best Actress.
