American Idol 8 Top 12 Group 2 Finalists
Group 2 selections for American Idol Top 12 Finalists join the American Idol Top 12 Group 1 Finalists . No real surprises here although we were really wondering if Nick/Norman would defy the odds and make it into the Top 12 with his over the top comedic routine.
As it turns out he didn’t make it, instead Allison Iraheta who sang Alone by Heart, Kris Allen who sang Man In The Mirror by Michael Jackson and Adam Lambert who sang Satisfaction by The Rolling Stones are the next three to form the Top 12 Finalists.
Adam Lambert looks like the front runner in American Idol 8. He has the looks and voice to make a successful recording artiste, being something like the American version of Mika. Like the current American Idol David Cook, Adam has shown that he can put his own interpretation into a song to make it special. Let’s hope the Adam Lambert Scandal doesn’t affect his chances.
Special guest was Brooke White who sang her debut single, Hold Up My Heart – watch it sink into the depths of obscurity upon release. It’s THAT boring.

Adam Lambert blew me away! He was fantastic! What is Simon talking about?? There were no bad moments! He is the reason to watch AI and I hope he wins the competition.
