American Idol Wildcard Results
The American Idol 8 Wildcard show presented a twist to the show. Instead of selecting 12 contestants for the finals, there are now 13.
From the wildcard show, Megan Corkrey, Matt Giraud, Anoop Desai and Jasmine Murray were selected by the judges for the finals which are now officially the American Idol Top 13.
The previous three groups were selected here: American Idol Top 12 Group 1 Finalists, American Idol 8 Top 12 Group 2 Finalists and American Idol Top 8 Top 12 Group 3 Finalists
None of the 8 contestants selected from the pool of rejects were particularly outstanding and it seemed as if the judges had already decided who they were going to bring into the finals even before the performances as those selected didn’t make an impression, in fact Megan Corkrey stank but still got in.
No matter – Adam Lambert will be the next American Idol – it is written.

None of these contestants come even close to Adam Lambert’s vocal ability and performance! Only Adam’s performance kept me glued to the screen and more to his videos (not sure how many times I have replayed it!). I hope AI doesn’t rig the show and pick Simon’s favourite like Megan to win! Based on her vocal ability, she won’t last!
