Country week turns out to be tough for Adam Lambert who sang “Ring Of Fire” but he’s still an outstanding performer. Simon Cowell hated it, calling it indulgent rubbish. The arrangement was middle-eastern flavored making the whole thing either “love it or hate it” especially when it’s supposed to be Nashville week.
Adam has to be careful seeing as how his stage background tends to make him go over the top in both his song choices and performances. Save Adam! He’s still the best American Idol ever had.

EVERYBODY HATED ADAM THAT NIGHT! What are you? Naive???
It sure seems like it! Danny was the best of the night! He sang awesome! Adam sounded like a cat falling from the SEARS TOWER! He sucked! He can only sing rock! Nothing else! Danny can sing anything!
Anyone who didn’t “get” Adam Lambert’s arrangement of Ring of Fire doesn’t know music, art, or creative passion. We LOVED Adam’s Ring of Fire! It was beyond cool, above and beyond the mediocre songs of the other contestants. Adam’s voice, especially in the high ranges, is like being in heaven … awesome times 100!
Adam Lambert is the ONE. The judges were totally wrong on Ring of Fire. Lost loads of respect for them on that one.
They are old and out of it. Danny is boring.
Loved it & still can’t get enough. Powerful, sexy, glam. Can’t peel my 49 year old eyes away. Adam has cast a spell on me!
Adam is amazing! Like Kara says, he is an artist. He is unique and doesn’t sound like everyone else! He would be CRAZY not to record an album!
