America’s Next Top Model Auditions Stampede
Chaos errupted at America’s Next Top Model auditions in NYC which were held at Manhattan’s Park Central New York hotel. The popular reality TV show produced and hosted by Tyra Banks was holding a casting call for the next season when a massive stampede started suddenly.
Police say at least 6 people were injured with 2 hospitalised. 3 have been arrested. It is not known what triggered the stampede but some reports say the combination of a fight among bystanders, the long hours of standing in line and a combustible BMW at the scene led to shouts that a bomb had gone off.
“The girls were running like it was 9/11 part two,” 27-year-old Jennifer Brown of, Brooklyn told the Daily News. “I feared for my life.”
