Chris Brown Pleads Not Guilty Video
Chris Brown appeared in court briefly to plead “Not Guilty” to charges of assaulting and threatening to kill Rihanna in February: Chris Brown Charged With Hitting Rihanna. The 19 year old singer arrived at the Los Angeles court accompanied by his mother and 4 bodyguards. Celebrity gossip news reports that Chris Brown ’s lawyer Mark Geragos, is trying to negotiate a deal with prosecutors to prevent jail time which could be a maximum of 4 years and 8 months in prison.
Rihanna in the meantime is said to be at her home in Barbados after co-operating with L.A. District Attorney’s Office on Brown’s case. Her attorney, Donald Etra was in the courtroom for Brown’s hearing.
