American Idol 8 Top 8 Results Scott MacIntyre Voted Off
Scott MacIntyre was finally voted off in the American Idol Season 8 Top 8 Results show. Together with him in the bottom 3 were Anoop Desai and Lil Rounds. I’m so proud of America. After 8 seasons of American Idol, they’re finally getting it right this season.
Simon says the judges were divided 2 and 2 on whether or not to use Judges Save for Scott and there was some deliberation but there was no doubt in my mind that Scott was going home.
Because of American Idol’s incompetent floor manager, the performance show over-ran resulting in only Simon Cowell giving the judges’ critique after Adam Lambert’s outstanding performance: Adam Lambert “Mad World” MP3 Video so the results show had the other judges give their belated comments.
Randy says Adam has been “consistently great” and that he was “DA BOMB”. Kara says “a standing ovation was the perfect thing to do for Adam” while Paula is “always entranced’ by Adam’s performances and that he knew who he was.
Special guests were Flo Rida and American Idol alumni Kellie Pickler with a surprise appearance by Frankie Avalon singing his hit “Venus”.
