Adam Lambert “Born To Be Wild” MP3 Video

Adam Lambert

Adam Lambert sang “Born To Be Wild” by Steppenwolf from the cult movie Easy Rider for the American Idol Top 7 movie songs week. Adam has turned the volume back up with his trademark rock around the stage and high pitch rock wails. Outrageously great as usual but he has to watch that he does it only very selectively.

Guest judge Quentin Tarantino is impressed, saying that Adam is “the real deal”. Paula is ecstatic, saying “you dare to dance in the path of greatness…you’re one of the bravest contestants I ever witnessed.” Simon Cowell rightly pointed out that some will like it, some will hate it, but it was “vocally incredible…it was a little bit like watching the Rocky Horror Musical in parts.” He also noted that this performance won’t be as popular as Adam’s “Mad World” performance last week.

American Idol should cut down Ryan Seacrest’s prattle since it doesn’t contribute to the judging process so that all the judges can speak because they still over ran with only 2 judges speaking. DUMB!!

Why is it that with only 2 judges speaking and 1 singer less, the time still overran? Beats me! I really think they should have just stuck with 3 judges – anyone except Simon to go!
