A day at the museum
The National Museum was upgraded recently with a new wing extension behind the original colonial style building. I must say it’s a job well done. Although still very small compared to museums elsewhere in the world, the exhibits are interesting and well displayed, with a good mix of artifacts and interactive media.

The buidling itself is brighter and more inviting with old parts of the building tastefully jazzed up with glass and steel. The media wall, which is this humungous matrix of maybe a hundred or more video screens, (see pix) made the museum very Blade Runner-like and the swinging red chandeliers add a nice, spooky touch of eclectic quirkiness. I like.
