Lil Rounds “I’m Every Woman” MP3 Video
Lil Rounds sang “I’m Every Woman” by Chaka Khan for American Idol Top 7 Redux and blows it. It’s time that Lil went home cos after weeks of the judges telling her what she’s been doing wrong, she STILL gets it wrong. And this disco week she practically crashes and burns.
Randy Jackson says, “it sounded so wild…it still didn’t really show us what kind of artist you could be.” Kara says, “I think America has been waiting for you to sing Chaka Khan…but it wasn’t worth the wait..I still didn’t know who you are as an artist.” Simon Cowell says that Lil Rounds looks so sad, “there was no originality…this is absolutely your last shot.” Even Paula Abdul couldn’t find anything good to say – only that Lil “did not hit the mark” and that her voice was gone.
However Lil Rounds maintains that what she did was not “karry-oh-key”. She should have SUNG the song and have less of the filler “oohh…ahh….yeaaahhh” which she did for 3 quarters of the song.
