Allison Iraheta sang “Hot Stuff” by Donna Summer for American Idol Top 7 disco theme week. Allison is hot stuff tonight with her awesome performance that all the judges loved although they were not crazy about the music arrangement. But that doesn’t detract from her great singing. I thought the grungy-rock Allison put into “Hot Stuff” was terrific.
Randy Jackson says, “you’re one of the best singers in the competition.” Kara DioGuardi says, “you were in the right lane…from a singing perspective–that was a 9/10 for me.” Paula Abdul didn’t mind the arrangement, saying it was “authentic”. Simon Cowell thinks it’s a “brilliant performance” saying, “I think you were always going to come into this week as an underdog.”

She has an amazing voice. But I think her manager needs to help Allison to fix her hair better. Diff style maybe, most of the time I see her, I can’t see her face.
