Adam Lambert sang “If I Can’t Have You” by Yvonne Elliman for the American Idol Top 7 disco week. He’s done a unique music arrangement to the song and it turns out totally original and great as usual, close to but not as amazing as his “Mad World” performance.
Randy Jackson says, “you are ready right now dude…he’s is a hot one tonight.” Kara DioGuardi says Adam’s performance was inspiring, “you’re brilliant…most memorable performance…the emotion…the way you connected.” Paula Abdul says, “You chose to pick a disco song and not make it cliche…you will be in the finals.” Simon Cowell says Adam’s vocals were “immaculate”, “you did something we weren’t expecting, it was original, we’re going to remember it.”
Looks like American Idol fired their incompetent programme director and managed to have all 4 judges speak after each performance.
