Back from Egypt - the land of sand

Sand was everywhere. In the desert, on souvenirs and in my eyes and mouth. There was just no escaping it. I’m back from Egypt and what an experience! I finally fulfilled my life-long dream to see the pyramids and visit the Valley of the Kings. However, the surprise winner is neither of those. It’s Abu Simbel.
Two majestic colossal temples on the banks of the Nile built to scare and deter invaders, these two temples are not to be missed. If the tour package you picked does not have Abu Simbel, forget it. Pick one that does. An optional tour there costs over US$100, the last time I checked.
I wll need some time to sort out my almost 800 photos before posting any. I may even start a separate site for it.
