Seems like he’s going in the direction of blue-grass tinged country rock.
He’s one of the least successful American Idols so far and probably the least deserving winner.
Would he have even made it into the Top 36 if he had competed in American Idol Season 8? Doubtful.

Not sure why people seem to hate Taylor Hicks so much. If I don’t like a singer I just don’t listen to their music, I don’t trash them. America has certainly been mean to their own.
