Danny Gokey “Dream On” MP3 Video
Danny Gokey sang “Dream On” by Aerosmith for American Idol Top 4 rock week. He certainly has the guts to take on a monster rock anthem. Not many pros can do “Dream On” right and of the 4 American Idol finalists, only Adam could have done it right. But somehow Danny thinks he’s got what it takes and oh how wrong he is. The scream at the end is truly horrendous.
Randy Jackson says, “Not your genre…it was alright…I’ll give you an a plus for effort.” Kara DioGuardi says, “I think you took the swagger a little too much…I commend you for taking chances.” Paula Abdul says, “I don’t know if this was the right song for you…But I’m a huge fan…I give you an a plus for going for it.” Simon Cowell says, “The last note was like watching a horror movie…it was a little over the top…it worked for Adam but not for you…I still think you are going to be safe tonight.”
