Kris Allen and Danny Gokey sang “Renegade” for the American Idol Top 4 rock theme week. This is an American Idol first, finalists dueting. Stupid idea if you ask me. How is this supposed to be judged? Just when you thought American Idol producers can’t be any dumber – they out do themselves.
Randy Jackson says, “I think you guys compliment…the harmonies were on blast.” Kara DioGuardi says, “I think the sum of the parts were better…maybe you couldn’t hear yourselves?” Paula Abdul says, “It was powerful and it was compelling…good job.” Simon Cowell says, “Danny you were better than Kris…how is that.” Yeah, whatever.
