Amazing Race Season 14 Winners Tammy And Victor
Siblings Tammy and Victor have won The Amazing Race season 14, bagging a cool US$1 million. They spoke to celebrity gossip site People about their win. Both lawyers, the pair started off a little shaky when Victor took the lead and made some bad decisions such as continuing in the wrong direction up a hill in Dracula country, Romania that resulted in them checking in almost last.
But they managed to improve their communication and teamwork as the race went on to beat out the remaining 2 teams comprising the Amazing Race’s first deaf competitor, Luke and his mother, and friends Jaime and Cara who constantly bitched about how China sucked because nobody spoke English.
The last leg of the race saw all three teams almost even, all at the last task of assembling surfboards with images from their previous tasks. Victor’s memory proved to be the best when he successfully completed putting all the surfboards together in correct order, leaving the other 2 teams in the dust.
Victor and Tammy say that they will use the one million dollars to pay off debt.
Tammy said, “I took my entire law school education out in loans so I will be paying that back. It would have taken me 10 years of working to pay those back so it will be nice to not be saddled with such an enormous debt. I have been coveting a pair of black peeptoe Christian Louboutins.”
Victor said, “I’ve decided to bail out Citibank. Just kidding but I did email my banker today to say that I could pay down my line of credit and take care of debt.”
They said the most difficult tasks were the physical ones such as carrying cheese down the hill and the pig in Hawaii.
