Google Says Adam Lambert Will Win American Idol
Who is going to win in the Adam Lambert – Kris Allen American Idol 8 Finale tomorrow? According to Google Trends, Adam Lambert will win American Idol. Google Trends tracks the number of searches for a particular term over a period of time indicating level of interest in the subject and Adam Lambert searches out-number Kris Allen by a wide margin.
The chart below shows the comparison – blue is for Adam Lambert, red for Kris Allen.
Notice that the blue line (Adam)is consistently much higher than the red (Kris) for search volume through the last 30 days and that the blue bars are also much longer than the red for searches within regions and cities with one exception.
Kris Allen beats Adam for searches in Kris’ hometown of Arkansas.
But for all other states and cities listed in Google Trends, Adam Lambert has significantly more searches.
