Susan Boyle To Quit Britain’s Got Talent?
Britain’s Got Talent discovery Susan Boyle is reportedly nearing a meltdown and is thinking of quitting the show, being unable to cope with the tremendous pressure of her fame. She had just qualified for the finals: Susan Boyle In Britain’s Got Talent Finals.
Britain’s DailyMail reports that judge Piers Morgan said that Susan Boyle “had been in tears repeatedly and had packed her bags in readiness to leave”. The show’s producers are even considering axing her from Saturday’s finals over concerns for her health.
Piers told ITV news, “On Wednesday she was actually going to leave the show, packed her bags to go, because she couldn’t see the point in going on if all she was going to get was all this sniping.
I think there’s a lot of cynicism now building up about Susan, a lot of unnecessary criticism about her and we should give her a break.
She’s two days away from the biggest show of her life, the biggest moment of her life.”
According to The Sun, a celebrity gossip spy said, “The last thing bosses want is a meltdown on national TV. It’s been made clear that if she’s not right mentally, she won’t appear in the final.”
This follows an incident where Susan Boyle reportedly shouted at two people for harassing her and complained to a policeman.
On a personal front, she is also said to be worried about her favorite niece who had just given birth a few weeks ago and had collapsed after suffering dizzy spells.
It would be such a waste of talent if she were to quit now.
