Gordon Ramsay Tracy Grimshaw Spat Reaches Australian PM
The spat between celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and TV presenter Tracy Grimshaw has prompted Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd to take time off from handling the economic crisis to call Ramsay “a lowlife”.
Reality TV series Hell’s Kitchen chef Gordon Ramsay went on a rampage insulting everyone within earshot while in Australia where he gave a cooking demonstration for a food show and insulted the presenter of “A Current Affair” – Tracy Grimshaw by showing pictures of a naked woman on all fours with a pig’s head and said, “that’s Tracy Grimshaw”.
He had been interviewed by her on Friday and during a foodie event attended by about 3,000 people in Melbourne on Saturday, he also flashed a picture of Miss Piggy of The Muppets and told the stunned audience that Grimshaw was a lesbian and needed ‘to see Simon Cowell’s Botox doctor’.
In retaliation, the TV station that Tracy Grimshaw works for released behind the scenes footage of Gordon Ramsay insulting staff in the Channel Nine TV studio. Tracy Grimshaw herself hit back at Ramsay on her show, saying “We have all seen how Gordon Ramsay treats his wife and he supposedly loves her. We are all just fodder to him.”
Gordon Ramsay has since apologized “unreservedly” for his remarks via a spokesperson who said that the chef had just been joking.
It’s high time Gordon Ramsay learnt that he can’t get away with insulting anyone just because he’s rich and famous.
