Adam Lambert Pissed Off By Indie Label CD Release

Adam Lambert is currently working on his debut album but the indie label that Adam worked with pre-Idol has released Adam Lambert – On With The Show, an album reportedly filled with material Adam co-wrote and recorded. The first single released is “Want” – a terrific track – listen below.
Adam Lambert however is less than thrilled about this.
“Back in 2005 when I was a struggling artist, I was hired as a studio singer to lend my vocals to tracks written by someone else. I was broke at the time and this was my chance to make a few bucks, so I jumped at the opportunity to record for my first time in a professional studio,” Adam said in a statement to Friday.
The statement continued, “The work I did back then in no way reflects the music I am currently in the studio working on. I’m thrilled to be working with some of today’s hottest songwriters and producers and can’t wait for people to hear what my music really sounds like.”
The indie label CEO John Hecker claims that the music is not only incredible, it’s completely legal. Says Hecker: “We would never put anything out that wasn’t fully owned by the parties involved with all the rights secured. We were really careful.”
Hecker also promises that Adam Lambert will share in whatever financial success that comes with On With The Show.
