Chris Brown Avoids Jail For Rihanna Assault
Chris Brown has pleaded guilty to assaulting girlfriend singer Rihanna but won’t be doing any jail time: Chris Brown Charged With Hitting Rihanna.
He will instead do community service such as sweeping roads and has to stay 50 yards (what’s up with the US – time to go metric!) away from Rihanna for the 5 years of his probation. In addition, he has to spend 180 days in his home state of Virginia on a work camp and will enroll in a domestic violence counseling program.
