Michael Jackson’s Death – Elizabeth Taylor Brooke Shields Liza Minelli Reactions
Michael Jackson’s long-time close friend, actress Elizabeth Taylor is grieving privately. “Dame Elizabeth Taylor is too devastated by the passing of her dear friend Michael Jackson: Michael Jackson Dies At 50 to issue a statement at this time,” her rep says. “We will direct her words to you once we receive them.”
Elizabeth Taylor was the first to call him “The King Of Pop” when she presented him with the Artist of the Decade award in 1989. She has been one of Michael Jackson’s strongest supporters even through his child molestation charges in 1995.
Actress Brooke Shields who was reportedly a one-time love interest of Michael Jackson said, “My heart is overcome with sadness for the devastating loss of my true friend Michael. He was an extraordinary friend, artist and contributor to the world. I join his family and his fans in celebrating his incredible life and mourning his untimely passing.”
Michael Jackson gave away Cabaret star Liza Minelli at her wedding to David Gest where Elizabeth Taylor was the guest of honor. “He was a kind, genuine, and wonderful man,” Minelli tells Entertainment Tonight. “He was also one of the greatest entertainers that ever lived. I loved him very much and I will miss him every remaining day of my life.”

That’s ashame. He had some good music. More and more people are dying young.
May Michael Jackson rest in peace despite some of the negative things said about him.
I am so saddened to learn of Michael Jacksons passing. I had a fondness
for his gently loving spirit. In spite of any complications surrounding his
passing it has not changed my feelings about him being a wonderful soul
and person. Medications area also complicated as is living with severe
insomnia, which is what I understand he’d been up against for some time.
No judgements about Michael from me …..just caring and admiration for
the brilliant entertainer and gentle loving person he was.
