New Edie Replacement For Desperate Housewives
With the death of the neighbourhood tramp Edie played by Nicollette Sheriden, TV’s Desperate Housewives are quick to find a replacement for Season 6.
According to celebrity gossip rumors, Sheriden reportedly had a fallout with producer Marc Cherry: Nicollete Sheridan Leaving Desperate Housewives that led to her being written off the show.
Her replacement is a tougher version of Portia de Rossi, Andrea Donna de Matteo.
She is best known for her roles as Adriana La Cerva on the HBO TV series The Sopranos and as Joey Tribbiani’s sister Gina on the NBC sitcom Joey.
Most recently she has portrayed Wendy Case on the FX drama Sons of Anarchy.
