Twitter Fans Dump Perez Hilton Over Michael Jackson Fake Heart Attack Post
Proving himself to be a douche yet again, Hollywood celebrity gossip rumors blogger Perez Hilton posted that Michael Jackson was faking a heart attack in order to get out of his 50-date comeback concert tour, “This Is It” when news first broke that Michael Jackson had been admitted to hospital.
After Jackson’s death, Perez Hilton removed the post but not before word spread about this callous remarks. Soon thereafter, a campaign spread across the Twitter nation urging people to drop Perez. In addition, hundreds of thousands of Tweets including the hash tag “#unfolllowperez” have been popping up all of the popular social networking site since last week.
When the trend started, Hilton had 1.8 million followers on Twitter. As of this morning, it’s down 800,000. What are the remaining 800,000 waiting for?
