Simon Cowell: Paula Will Be On American Idol
Simon Cowell has commented on recent Hollywood celebrity gossip news rumors that Paula Abdul won’t be returning to American Idol next season.
He says, “She’ll be fine. She’ll be on the show,” he tells Extra. “I don’t get a lot of say. I’ve just made it clear that I want Paula on the show.”
Earlier, Paula Abdul’s manager David Sonenberg had expressed concern that she had not been offered a contract yet, saying, “She’s not a happy camper as a result of what’s going on. She’s hurt.”
Fans in the meantime have launched a Twitter “Keep Paula” campaign to support her.
