“Breakfast Club” Director John Hughes Dies

Movie writer/director John Hughes has died suddenly at 59. Famous for his angsty teenage movies such as “Breakfast Club”, “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”, “Pretty In Pink” and “Sixteen Candles”, Hughes died of a sudden heart attack during a morning walk in Manhattan.
These movies made Molly Ringwald and Matthew Broaderick household names among teenagers.
He also wrote several comedies, “Trains, Planes And Automobiles” that starred comedian Steve Martin and the hit movie “Home Alone”.
John Hughes leaves behind his wife of 39 years, Nancy and their two sons.
