The creator of the full-bodied electric guitar Les Paul has died of pneumonia complications at 94 in New York. In addition to making the ultimate electric guitar that’s become the standard for rock and roll, Les Paul also contributed to modern sound recording, including overdubbing, tape delay and multitrack recording techniques.
