Elvis duets with Celine Dion on American Idol
It was quite an amazing TV moment. On the Idol Gives Back charity show of American Idol, Elvis was brought back to life to sing a duet with Celine Dion on stage. It was incredibly well done, although modern elements like Celine, the stage and everyone else had to be blurred and made more grainy to match the Elvis footage. Lighting from different angles was spot on and Elvis even looked like he interacted a little with Celine.
It seems that only TV audiences are wowed by this. Live audiences were treated to an Elvis impersonator stand in and didn’t really enjoy it much. The face of Elvis was superimposed on the impersonator’s for the TV airing. Proves that with the right technology, ANYTHING can be faked.
