Chris Richardson most underrated American Idol contestant
Possibly one of the most underated contestants on American Idol, Chris Richardson is the ideal pop product for record labels. Bearing a resemblance to Justin Timberlake – I always refer to him as Justin’s cousin – this boy even sings like Justin.
It’s really unfortunate that throughout the competition, Chris did not have a chance to perform to his full potential. Bad choice of songs and unfortunate themes all contributed his eventual elimination. Although he managed to pull off music genres that were obviously wrong for him, such as latino and rock, he never really got into own style which is more the Justin Timberlake style of soul RandB mixed with hip-hop.
However, no tears for Chris being booted out of American Idol. I’m sure record producers will sign him up given his very marketable overall package. Don’t be surprised if he has a Number One record in the near future.
