Kanye West Ruins Taylor Swift MTV Award Video
What’s wrong with Kanye West. When country and western star Taylor Swift won “Best Female Video” at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards beating out Beyonce, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Lady Gaga and Pink, Kanye West took the mic from Taylor and said, “Yo Taylor. I’m really happy for you. I’m gonna let you finish but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!”
The camera then panned to a shocked Beyonce after which Kanye shrugged his shoulders and left the stage, leaving a bewildered Taylor Swift.
He later posted an apology on his blog but the damage’s been done. You ruined Taylor Swift’s big moment.
