The Vampire Diaries Star Ian Somerhalder Enjoys Playing Evil
Actor Ian Somerhalder who plays the evil brother Damon Salvatore in the new glossy TV series The Vampire Diaries says it’s fun playing the character.
“Because they’re so dangerous and fun, you can’t help but watch. And for me it’s so fun to say the lines they’re giving me – I was always so envious of Josh Holloway on “Lost” because he got the best things to say! Boone just wasn’t that guy, so now it’s so cool to actually be that guy. I’m forever indebted to Kevin and everyone else who was dumb enough to give me this job.”
Ian Sommerhalder played Boone, a character on the TV series Lost that died early but there are talks that Boone will reappear in the coming season.
The Vampire Diaries is based on a series of books by LJ Smith and was the most watched premier ever for the CW Network with 4.9 million viewers tuning in. If you missed it, you can watch The Vampire Diaries online here.
