Gossip Girl Star Gets Restraining Order Against Husband
Popular TV series Gossip Girl actress Kelly Rutherford got a temporary restraining order on Thursday against her estranged husband Daniel Giersch reports Hollywood celebrities gossip news rumors site EOnline.
Until a court hearing scheduled on October 15, Giersch must maintain a distance of at least 100 yards away from Rutherford and their two young children.
Rutherford had claimed that Giersch displayed “alarmingly harassing and scary” behavior.
“Not only does Daniel harass me, but my child care provider has quit as a result of Daniel’s harassment and threats,” said the actress. “It is clear that Daniel has begun to follow me, my mother, my nanny and he shows up unexpectedly to threaten and scare us.”
Giersch’s lawyer rebutted these claims as “fabricated accusations,” adding, “Daniel will remain focused on co-parenting both of their children and not make any personal comments in order to continue to protect the children’s need for privacy and well being.”
Rutherford filed for divorce earlier this year citing the popular phrase, “irreconcilable differences”.
